Welcome

Hello everybody welcome to the Newick Pre-School website, I’m Nicki the Pre-School Manager and I run the pre-school with my friendly team of experienced childcare professionals. We feel it is a privilege to be a part of your child’s learning journey, from those initial steps into a new childcare environment, where they are encouraged to play, share and communicate with other children, right up to those last days at pre-school when they have become confident children ready to take on the next stage of learning at ‘big school’!

As a Reception Teacher I fully understand what is expected of children in their first year at School, this has enabled me to develop a comprehensive and fun Rising 5 programme which we run with the pre-school children on Monday and Wednesday afternoons. From the feedback, these sessions have been well received from parents, local reception teachers and most importantly the children! If you would like to have a chat about these sessions please come in and see me.

Newick is a warm and welcoming community and our pre-school reflects this spirit. We aim to create a fun and friendly atmosphere that stimulates the learning potential of each of our children.
